FALL/WINTER 2016 - 2017

The prolific and versatile Gae Aulenti inspired Silvia Tcherassi’s Fall Winter 2016-1017 collection. The Italian architect is well known for her extraordinaire talent, mixing elements, materials and colors in a non-traditional way. Taking cues from this approach, Tcherassi mixed big sleeves shirts with clean and simple skirts and high-rise pants with a variety of capes.  In addition to her beloved cotton and lace, the designer used silks and wools woven with stretch and lurex. The color palette incorporates tones and hues reminiscent of Italian Mid Century furniture.
