At the heart of this collection lies a deep-rooted desire to share moments with friends and family and to make them as special and beautiful as possible. It was designed with a very optimistic frame of mind in an uncertain world that continues to face adversity. Despite these ongoing challenges, there are certain experiences, such as responsible at-home entertaining, that are becoming a possibility once again. “Ever since I can remember, entertaining and hosting have been a truly important part of my life and subsequently, my brand,” shares Silvia Tcherassi, “nowadays, they have taken on a whole new meaning because for so long we were far apart from our loved ones. I have always been meticulous about details, but more than ever, I plan on making every get together as exceptional as possible. I wanted every piece in this collection to have this same spirit.”

The essence of Spring-Summer 2021 is a hopeful one. It embodies the firm’s trademark effortless elegance in a new kind of mise-en-scène that reflects the times we live in. “I was inspired by those intimate gatherings in Palm Beach that showcased exquisite glamour and a post-war zeal, remarkably captured by the lens of Slim Aarons. Or the luxurious summer nights in Greece of Jackie Kennedy and her sister, Lee Radziwill. We tend to look back and romanticize about these iconic periods, oftentimes forgetting that crises and misfortune had preceded it.”

The aesthetic for Petit Comité is joyful, vibrant and above all, a celebration of life. Relaxed silhouettes in bold prints reminiscent of Dorothy Draper interiors gracefully blend with our signature stripes in pieces that easily transition from day-to-night. Loose tunics, cropped trousers, pareos and mini-dresses in leisurely fabrics, such as linen and cotton, encourage the season’s alfresco spirit. Elevating details such as hand embroideries and laser cut detailing also played an important role.
