The All-White Capsule

A clean slate, a rebirth, purity, and of course, celebration— the color white holds great significance and symbolism on many fronts, which is why the firm is launching an all-white capsule collection for the very first time. “White has always been a profoundly powerful color to me and some of the most memorable pieces I have ever created have been in this shade—whether a wedding dress or a classic cotton blouse— it’s a color that will always be special and relevant to me,” shares designer, Silvia Tcherassi. Ethereal, refined and completely optimistic, the pieces are crafted with the house’s signature techniques in materials such as eyelet cotton, silks and lace. A 12-piece assortment, all creations are intended for a modern-day woman who is not only adapting to an ever-changing world, but doing so with grace and sensibility.

“It is important for our brand to reflect and adequately respond to the times we are living in.” says Silvia. “Special moments are still being celebrated, albeit, quite differently. We kept certain key things, such as intimate outdoor celebrations, present while designing this”.

For years, Silvia has designed bespoke couture gowns for brides all over the world—a creative process she thoroughly loves and enjoys. “I do miss that one-on-one interaction with my brides, as it is a wonderful experience to bring my vision and theirs to life and a true honor to dress women on one of the most important days of their lives,” she shares, “this is why the capsule includes several wedding gowns, because even though we are undergoing atypical moments, love and lifetime unions are fortunately still being commemorated”.
