It’s quite obvious that fashion is my passion, but moreover, it is an art and a means of expression and communication. Through fashion, we can analyze entire time periods and societies.

How would you define your style?

Fashion is fun. I value the comfort and simplicity of timeless pieces like blouses, jeans and flats. At night, I take on a more sophisticated approach and go for pronounced cuts. I follow trends, but only those that are akin to my style.

During your thirty-year trajectory, you have served as muse to various designers. What does this mean to you?

It’s an honor! Being so close to fashion alongside some of the most important masters has been a great education. I am an observant and curious woman and there is nothing like the opportunity to watch how their skilled hands work and learn how to differentiate textiles and combine colors.
