Styling Notes 001

Effortless, appropriate and on-point, our Director of Ready-to-Wear Sofia Espinosa Tcherassi seems to have mastered the traveling in style category, managing to not only look chic and polished every time, but making each look uniquely her own. During a recent New York City jaunt, she showcased several looks and we wanted to hear all about it.

“Spending my college years in New York City left a profound love for it in me, and going back—be it for a fun girls weekend or work—is something I always look forward to. The summertime is perhaps my favorite season there, as the city seems to have an effervescent energy to it.”

Museum-Hopping

“Cotton is a warm-weather staple. I wore this skirt and top to lunch with a few friends and then to the MET and the Frick—two of my all-time favorites in the city. The pieces are light and easy— I especially like the flower detailing. I added one of our Dora belts for extra definition around the waist.”

Candle-Lit Patio Dinner

“The Katherine dress is one of the highlight pieces from our Pre-Fall 2022 collection—I love the back detailing and eye-catching kaleidoscope print. It’s feminine, flirty and perfect for the outdoor dinner at a friend’s beautiful terrace in the West Village that I wore it to.”

Day-to-Night

“I wore this v-neck printed dress with flat leather sandals on a particularly busy day of appointments around town. I went for it knowing that I wouldn’t get a chance to change for a dinner I had at The Nines that night. Versatile and easy, a quick change of shoes and accessories made it casually polished for day and fun, yet sophisticated for night.”
